M. B. Patel English Medium Secondary and Higher Secondary School and American Field Services association
AFS Intercultural Programs (or AFS, originally the American Field Service) is an international youth exchange organization. It consists of over 50 independent, not-for-profit organizations, each with its own network of volunteers.
- "AFS association with M. B. Patel English Medium Secondary and Higher Secondary School has been since 2008. Under this program teachers and students across the globe participate in short term and long term educational programs in order to promote intercultural awareness and get acquainted with the educational system worldwide.. "
- School has hosted 19 students till date from countries like Italy, Germany, USA, Indonesia, Turkey, Japan and France.
- Total of 9 students from school have visited various countries like USA and Germany for 11 months academic programs.

- Dr. Varsha Parekh visited Japan in 2018 for 10 days in Volunteer exchange programme.
- 10 Students and Ms. Sneha Patel and Mrs. Sejal Parmar went to Egypt for International class exchange programme for 15 days in 2014.
- Principal, Mr. Arpit Christian visited Italy for peace education programme for one week in 2016.
- 10 Students and Mrs. Suparna Mukherjee, Mr. Nadim Memon went to Bangaluru for Regional class exchange programme for 5 days in 2018
